AETERNUS: New Thinking, New Ideas
August 5, 2003AETERNUS frontman Ares has posted the following message to the band's official web site:
"Greetingz to ya' all!
"Well, I don't have any breaking news for you all, but I decided to let you know about our plans when it comes to gigs and so forth as many write me about that.
We don't have any concrete plans, but we have been in contact with some people and as far as now I haven't heard anything about the fact that it won't happen.
We have plans to play in Sandnes/Norway around August/September. So far I have an appointment to contact my contact next month and I am pretty sure this will take place. We have plans do something in London at the Underworld around December. My contacts there said it would be quite possible to get things settled on that one...
NAP, our Label has told me that there has been an offer from Metalysee where a 14-day tour could take place in November. This is uncertain now, but the idea is there still and further info on this will come. I've been in contact with people in Italy and Scotland as well, but this is uncertain right now too as I am waiting for their reply and so forth... So, no special news, I simply want to let all of you know what's going on and it ain't too much at all (I know) at this stage. However we are trying to get things going and we WILL do gigs as soon as it's possible. Hopefully near you. Thanx for all the support and great response on 'A Darker Monument'. We are working these days with new material already and I can promise you a powerful and brutal piece of Metal when the time comes to release the next album next year or whenever we do that. New music, new thinking, new ideas, changes yet the old feel and much more..."
AETERNUS' latest CD, "A Darker Monument" was recorded at Greighallen Studios with producer Pytten (ENSLAVED, MÖRK GRYNING) and is the group's first CD for Nocturnal Art Productions.
